DANCE MINDSET TRAINING
For Dancers, Parents & Teachers
In collaboration with Mindful Dancers, Lauren Krause, Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying), offers group mindset training sessions designed to support the emotional wellbeing, confidence, and mental health of dancers and the people who support them.
Dance environments can foster discipline, passion, creativity, and growth, but they can also come with intense pressure, perfectionism, comparison, anxiety, burnout, and self-criticism. These sessions are designed to create space for meaningful conversations while providing practical tools that support both performance and wellbeing.
Whether you are a dancer, parent, teacher, or studio owner, our goal is to help build healthier, more supportive environments where individuals can thrive both inside and outside of dance.

Our Approach
These sessions combine psychoeducation, nervous system awareness, mindfulness-based practices, emotional regulation tools, and open discussion in a way that feels approachable, supportive, and applicable to real-life dance experiences.
Topics are presented through a compassionate and developmentally appropriate lens, with a focus on building self-awareness, emotional resilience, confidence, communication, and sustainable performance habits.
Sessions may include:
Psychoeducation and mindset training
Nervous system and stress response education
Emotional regulation strategies
Mindfulness and grounding techniques
Guided reflection and discussion
Practical tools that can be applied both in and outside of dance environments
Our Vision
Our vision is to help create dance environments where mental wellbeing is valued alongside performance, and where dancers feel supported not only in what they achieve, but in who they are as individuals.
We believe that confidence, resilience, emotional awareness, and self-compassion are just as important as technical skill, and that sustainable growth happens when wellbeing and performance are supported together.
